  • Audio files: podcast episodes you upload for processing.
  • Generated content: transcripts, summaries, and other AI-generated output derived from your audio.
  • Billing information: payment details handled securely by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
  • Usage data: log data, IP addresses, browser type, and interactions with the Service for operational and security purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, billing receipts)
  • Respond to support enquiries
  • Detect and prevent fraud or misuse

We do not sell your personal data or use your audio content to train AI models.

4. Third-Party Services

To provide the Service, your audio files are transmitted to the following third-party processors:

  • AssemblyAI — for speech transcription and speaker diarization. Audio is transmitted to AssemblyAI's API and subject to their privacy policy.
  • OpenAI — for AI content generation. Transcripts are sent to OpenAI's API and subject to their privacy policy.
  • Stripe — for payment processing, subject to their privacy policy.

We only share the minimum data necessary for each provider to perform their function.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. When you delete an episode or close your account, associated audio files and generated content are removed from our systems within a reasonable period. Billing records may be retained longer where required by law.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage for audio files and HTTPS for all data in transit. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can update your profile information from your account settings, and you can request deletion of your account by contacting us. We will respond to data requests within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use session cookies required for authentication and a preference cookie to remember your dark mode setting. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
